This summer residence was built under Fürst Erzbischof Johann Ernst Graf Thun by the architect Johann Bernard Fischer von Erlach between 1700 and 1709. On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the day of death of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart a Mozart exhibition was arranged here. When building up the temporary retrofitting for this exhibition the architects and planner for domestic engineering had to take care that the monument protected building structure was kept untouched.
